What is this smoke coming from the 18th arrondissement of the capital? This Wednesday evening, July 8, 2026, the sight may have alarmed some Parisians. In the northwestern part of the city, a car caught fire on the Rue de Clignancourt, near Boulevard Barbès Rochechouart, close to the border with the 9th arrondissement.
The blaze was spotted around 9 p.m., and emergency services were quickly alerted. Firefighters have now arrived on the scene.
