On Friday, September 25, several areas of Paris will be difficult—or even impossible—to drive through. The restrictions cover both the pope’s papamobile route between Notre-Dame-des-Champs and Place Saint-Michel and its movements in the 7th arrondissement, notably around UNESCO.

Where to see Pope Leo XIV in the papamobile in Paris? On Friday, September 25, 2026, the sovereign pontiff will traverse a portion of the Left Bank between Notre-Dame-des-Champs and Place Saint-Michel. The 2.5-kilometer route will be divided into 12 welcoming zones, with public access starting at noon and several metro and RER stations closed. [Read more]
Traffic will be banned from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. within the perimeter set up around the route between Notre-Dame-des-Champs and Saint-Michel Square.
