The Night of Museums is always a perfect opportunity to explore museums: for one evening, these cultural institutions open their doors for special visits, often free of charge, offering unique nocturnal experiences. Exciting new activities are regularly added to the program, making this an essential cultural event in the springtime in Paris and Île-de-France.
Every year, a wide range of visits awaits both enthusiasts and curious visitors, ensuring everyone can find a memorable outing tailored to their interests. The upcoming edition is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, with cinephiles in particular heading to the Seydoux-Pathé Foundation, established in 2014.
Located in the Gobelins district of Paris, the company museum traces the evolution of cinema and its trades through the history of the company founded in 1896 by brothers Émile and Charles Pathé. The Seydoux-Pathé Foundation holds an exceptional collection of archives on the 120-year history of the Pathé company, its productions and its equipment.
As for the Nuit des Musées, this 22nd edition stays true to tradition, offering a nocturnal program for one evening only — a perfect opportunity to enjoy cultural activities with family or friends! Find the full schedule below.
