The Rosny Rail Museum - a train museum is one of Île-de-France's hidden gems: even the residents of Rosny-sous-Bois aren't fully aware of this place, despite passing by it almost daily. Yet, this museum offers a fascinating experience: we invite you to explore it during the 22nd edition of the Night of Museums on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
The museum, located beneath Rosny-sous-Bois station, features dozens of vintage items assembled by model rail enthusiasts in the Club Ferroviaire Noiséen.
This museum, dedicated to railway history and rolling stock, boasts a treasure trove spread over more than 250 square meters. Visitors can immerse themselves in the story of trains through vintage artifacts, period documents, a detailed miniature railway network, recreations of small rural stations, model trains, vintage locomotives, and even a fully reconstructed driver’s cab!
Don't hesitate to visit right at opening time with young children — the size of the Rosny Rail Museum will delight them without wearing them out! Enjoy a wonderful evening surrounded by trains.
Discover the only railway museum in Île-de-France, dedicated to the fascinating history of rail transport—from steam engines to the TGV. The museum offers themed exhibits covering locomotives, signaling systems, safety measures, and everyday travel with Transilien. Visitors can enjoy a display of paintings, watch films and videos, and even step into a recreated train cab for an authentic experience.
