Museums, castles, monuments and other institutions join in the fun, surprising visitors with concerts, workshops, performances, and other activities. For this new edition, the rendezvous is set for this Saturday, May 23, 2026.

And why not take the opportunity to discover the capital’s lesser-known museums? We’re taking you on a journey to a surprising spot tucked inside the Hôpital Sainte-Anne. It’s famed for its psychiatry and neuroscience specialties. Here you’ll find le MAHHSA, le Musée d'Art et d'Histoire whose collections bring together works created by artist-patients from the 19th century to the present day.

This striking exhibition space welcomes you as well to this year’s edition of the Night of Museums on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Want to see the program? Here’s what it has in store below!

The 2026 Night of Museums program at Mahhsa, the Art and History Museum of Sainte-Anne Hospital:

  • Flash tours at the heart of the Sainte-Anne Collection
    Saturday, May 23, 2026 - 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM, 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM

On the occasion of Museums Night 2026, the Museum of Art and History at Sainte-Anne Hospital (MAHHSA) is pleased to invite you to explore its new exhibition: “Masterpieces at the Heart of the Sainte-Anne Collection.” The 30-minute guided tours (four time slots available) will take you through the iconic works by patient-artists from the Sainte-Anne Collection.

Across a six-section thematic itinerary, you’ll encounter works by artists who are now widely recognized — Aloïse Corbaz, Unica Zürn, Guillaume Pujolle, Maurice Blin, Caroline Macdonald — as well as pieces by anonymous artists from Poland, India, and Japan.

The exhibition aims in particular to help destigmatize the artistic output of patient-artists, demonstrating that it is fully part of the history of art and creative activity.

Time slots: 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Free admission.
