For the 20th Nuit des Musées, the Musée d'histoire urbaine et sociale de Suresnes invites the curious to a free nocturnal visit on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

On the occasion of the Nuit des Musées, the Musée d'histoire urbaine et sociale, located in Suresnes in the Hauts-de-Seine department, invites you to discover its spaces by night, free of charge, on Saturday May 18, 2024. The aim of this museum is to present the city's history, its urban landscape, and its social and economic evolution... In short, the history of the city's social planning from the 1920s to the 1940s.

The museum invites you to wander through its permanent collections, spread over the two levels of the former station, while temporary exhibitions are concentrated in the museum extension, as well as in "l'atelier", a space for educational activities and conferences.

The museum itinerary has been modernized, offering the very best in new technologies to immerse visitors in the city's history, through topographical models, olfactory terminals, films and touch-screen terminals. The museum also includes a documentation center, with access to the collections database, to discover the objects held in the museum's reserves.
