Nuit des Musées 2024 in Paris at the Hôtel de la Marine: the program for this nocturne

The Nuitdes Musées is the cultural event not to be missed this spring in Paris and the Île-de-France region. It's the perfect way to enjoy a special evening of night-time visits to museums, monuments and other fascinating sites. Often free of charge, they are sometimes even accompanied by special events including concerts, workshops and other unusual surprises for the enjoyment of young and old alike. The 20th edition of this annual event awaits you on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

You'll have the opportunity to visit Paris's sublime Place de la Concorde and discover theHôtel de la Marine, one of the twin buildings that dominate this historic site. This Louis XV-style building opened its doors to the general public in 2021, after the departure of the French Navy headquarters. Today, the building boasts a number of historical trails that take visitors back in time, through apartments and galleries that take them back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The Al-Thani collection is also on display, with temporary exhibitions on view.

• Sung interludes / Exhibition "A Taste of the Renaissance. A dialogue between collections" at the Hôtel de la Marine

  To mark European Museum Night, Les Trouveurs, a singing duo specializing in the interpretation of early music, take over the galleries of the Taste of the Renaissance exhibition. A dialogue between collections from the Al Thani Collection for sung interludes.
  
  The exhibition is organized by the Al Thani Collection Foundation and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
