Have you heard of the Château de Rosa Bonheur? This museum houses the former studio and home of the artist Rosa Bonheur. Located in Thomery, in the Seine-et-Marne region, the château allows us to immerse ourselves in the world of the famous painter. Paintings, smocks, paints and palettes, sketches, notes, clothes, accessories, furniture, personal effects... It's all here, preserved in perfect condition since 1899. All of Rosa Bonheur's belongings are on display, bringing the rooms of this home-workshop back to life.

On the occasion of the Nuit des Musées event, the Château Rosa Bonheur is opening its doors free of charge to all visitors. Fun and family activities are planned throughout the evening, to highlight Rosa Bonheur, her work and her very special studio.
Short guided tours by lamplight to discover Rosa Bonheur castle by night, with anecdotes. At the end of the tour, steaming tea and cookies await you to regain your strength. The park is freely accessible, with Michel Bassompierre's monumental sculptures illuminated.
