Nuit des Musées 2024 at the Gaîté Lyrique: a free artistic evening in Paris

La Gaîté Lyrique is a festive and cultural venue well known to Parisians, especially those living in the 3rd arrondissement. This former theater is now a place for artistic creation, encounters, discussion and life, bringing the Arts-et-Métiers district to life. The theatrical roots of the Gaîté Lyrique can still be seen on its facade: a statue representing Comedy in the guise of Molière's Scapin, and Drama represented by Shakespeare's Hamlet.

This Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Gaîté Lyrique is opening its doors to the curious free of charge. The venue is taking part in the latest edition of the Nuit des Musées. The aim of this Europe-wide event is to highlight the artistic and cultural heritage of each city.
