Fête de la Musique 2025 in Houilles (78): free concert by artist Kirá

It's an event that music lovers look forward to! Every June 21, live music resounds throughout France at the now-famous Fête de la Musique.

For over 40 years now, this popular, festive and free event has been inundating the many musicians eager to get their instruments out and share their passion with as many people as possible. Every June 21 since the event was launched in 1982, the free concerts organized for the occasion have put a smile on the faces of many French people.

The Fête de la Musique, which showcases the diversity of the musical landscape by bringing together amateurs and professionals, is a celebration of all tastes, from rock and jazz to rap, metal, classical music, blues, electro and reggae...

Unsurprisingly, there are plenty of good music deals to be had in Paris, with free concerts organized on every street corner in several of the capital's arrondissements. Elsewhere in the Ile-de-France region, there's no shortage of events either, like in Houilles.

This town in the Yvelines department of the Paris region is once again taking part in the Fête de la musique, inviting new talent to take over its streets and various districts. After welcoming La Dame Blanche in 2022, Gasandji in 2023 and La Ganga Calé last year, which artists have the honor of taking part in this year's Fête de la musique 2025 in Houilles?

OnSaturday June 21, 2025, the Yvelines municipality will be inviting its residents to rue Gambetta to vibrate to the sounds of Kirá from 9:30pm. For this year's Fête de la musique, this singer, composer and music producer, who is also the son of Manu Chao, will take you on a delicious musical journey. Just before, at 6:30 p.m., you'll find local groups including Naga Yell and Healing Tree. The town also awaits you on the Place du 14 juillet with an open stage, and at the Kiosque for karaoke.
