This Saturday, June 21, 2025, to celebrate the Fête de la musique, the Ministry of Overseas France in Paris opens its doors to us for an exceptional evening in the gardens of theHôtel de Montmorin. Starting at 5.30pm, a series of concerts will highlight the musical wealth of the French overseas territories, with an eclectic program featuring artists from Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion, Wallis and Futuna and many others.
Among the artists present are Fabienne Reine, whose voice embodies the sounds of Guadeloupe, Fred Deshayes, both artist and academic, and Les Frères Timal, who offer a fusion of gwo ka and electro. The group JI Kann' presents covers and original compositions, while Ofa Mako takes us to Wallis and Futuna. Other performers include Kimsé, Rachelle Allison, Saïna Manotte, Yoan, Ambre Ever and DJ Slamky.
The event is free and open to all, but prior registration is recommended via this online form. DJ Slamky 's DJ set closes the evening from 10.30pm, promising a festive atmosphere right through to the end of the event.
This initiative is in line with the desire of the French Minister for Overseas France, Manuel Valls, to celebrate the culture and history of the French overseas territories, by offering a stage to artists from these regions. A unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the musical diversity of the French overseas territories in the heart of Paris.
