Do you love music? Do you feel like celebrating? Then don't miss this year's Fête de la musique. Since 1982, France has been celebrating music every June 21. It's an opportunity for musicians, amateurs and professionals alike, to get out their instruments and take to the streets, concert halls, bars and sometimes even museums and other unusual places.
2026 is no exception. So mark your calendar for Sunday, June 21 to soak up the rhythm of live music and the many great deals to discover in Paris and across Île-de-France. To enjoy a Fête de la Musique that’s friendly and family-oriented, head to the Jardin d’Acclimatation.
Located in the west of Paris, the Jardin d'Acclimatation was inaugurated in 1860, and completely renovated in 2018. Each year, around 2 million visitors enjoy its 42 attractions and 18 hectares of promenades. The Jardin d'Acclimatation also hosts numerous events throughout the year.
This year once again, the Jardin d'Acclimatation joins the Fête de la Musique by welcoming on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, 2026, the Chœur à l’Horizon. Founded in 2019 and based in Paris, the Chœur à l'Horizon is a professional choir dedicated to highlighting the beauty and richness of vocal ensembles in musical theatre, as well as works from the classical and contemporary repertoire.
That’s not all: a group of 180 young musicians, aged 12 to 19 and based in Oslo, will also bring live music to the Jardin d’Acclimatation on Sunday, June 21, as part of a roaming performance.
