As every year, the capital will be vibrating to the sound of world music, on every street corner! Rock, rap, hip-hop, metal, pop, blues, jazz, electro, world music, R&B and French variety... on Saturday, June 21, 2025, all musical genres will be in the spotlight. It's an opportunity to delight everyone's ears and celebrate the Fête de la musique in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In the street, but also in churches and museums, budding musicians and professionals alike offer concerts that are often free and accessible to all. To mark the 43rd Fête de la Musique, the Musée de la Préfecture de Police, created in 1909 by Louis Lépine and housed in a private mansion on rue de la Montagne-Sainte-Geneviève, retraces centuries of police history in the capital, and opens its doors for a family-friendly program of musical events for the very young.
