In June, there's no shortage of cultural events in Paris: music festivals, Nuit Blanche and, of course, the traditional Fête de la Musique! Every year on the same date, budding singers and musicians take to the streets to make live music resound. Every June 21, the capital's musical scene is packed to the rafters. And some districts are literally taken by storm. A case in point is the area around the Canal Saint-Martin.
In order to " ensure the smooth running of these festivities and the safety of the public and participants ", the Préfecture de police de Paris has issued a decree temporarily restricting traffic in certain streets in the 10th arrondissement, along the Canal Saint-Martin, on June 21.
In detail, from June 21 at 5:00 pm to June 22, 2025 at 5:00 am, all motorized vehicles will be banned from the following streets and sections of streets in the 10th arrondissement of Paris:
However, the Maria Casarès bridge will remain open to cyclists, according to the Préfecture de police de Paris.
