A message for smokers looking to quit: Stoptober returns in November 2026. This collective challenge invites you to stop smoking for a month and encourages you not to take up this harmful habit again. Ready to take the plunge? Registration is open, and the challenge is underway.

Every year in November, smokers who have decided to give up cigarettes face a major challenge: Tobacco-Free Month. Encouraged by Tabac Info Service, this initiative offers a collective challenge and considerable support for future ex-smokers. The principle is apparently simple: go 30 days without smoking a single cigarette.

It may seem a daunting challenge, but future ex-smokers won't have to face it alone. A registration form is available on the Info Tabac Service website. This allows you to order a free stop-smoking kit, and to be offered a 40-day program to boost your motivation and provide support in difficult times.

Expert tobaccologists are also available on 39 89, and an e-coaching app is available to keep you going. We can also count on the Facebook community to remind us that NO, we're not alone in this challenge. You can chat with former smokers and other challengers to get advice and share your thoughts. A great initiative that will help you put an end to your tobacco consumption!

For even more advice and support, check out our articles dedicated to this important health event. So, do you feel up to the challenge? See you on November 1 for your new challenge!
