Fête de la Musique à Chatou 2025: seventies, Elton Tribute and fireworks

The Fête de la Musique à Chatou 2025 promises to be a not-to-be-missed event on Saturday June 21. From theEspace Hal Singer to the Parc de l'île des Impressionnistes, via the Place des Marguillers and the Hameau Fournaise, the town will vibrate to the rhythm of music, culminating in a tribute concert to Elton John and a fireworks display that should please young and old alike.

Starting at 10:30 a.m., Espace Hal Singer will come alive with an impressionist musical promenade, featuring students from the Chatou Conservatoire performing Ravel 's works as they wander around. In the afternoon, the MJC-MPT and the mediatheque will offer a variety of performances: jazz-rock, variety, choirs, flute, classical, hip-hop and oriental dance.

On the Place des Marguillers, the association L'école de Musique will be presenting local bands such as Blue Sky, Les Envoûteurs, Salted Potatoes, So and what else, and Les Tontons flingués, offering a rock and groovy atmosphere.

At 5pm, the Hameau Fournaise will welcome the Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Frédéric Richard, with the participation of CHAM classes from Collège Auguste Renoir. The program includes Bizet's L'Arlésienne, film music and an interactive blind test. The curious can attend rehearsals between 2 and 4 pm.

In the evening, the Parc de l'île des Impressionnistes will host the heart of the party. From 7pm onwards, food-trucks, beer bars and entertainment stands will open their doors. A make-up and goodies stand will enable you to adopt Elton John's look for the evening.

At 8pm, the Saint Eldorado group will take us back to the 70s with covers of The Beatles, Sonny & Cher, ABBA, Michel Polnareff and Françoise Hardy.

At 9.30pm, The Elton Tribute will pay tribute to Elton John, performing his greatest hits such as Rocket Man, I'm Still Standing and Candle in the Wind, with a flamboyant staging. We're sure it'll be a moving moment.

The evening concludes at 11pm with a pyrotechnic show by Arteventia, under the park's stars.
