Sunday, June 21, 2026, Le Vésinet will let the music ripple outdoors with a Music Day that promises to strike a chord with every music lover! From 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Parc des Ibis unfolds into a genuine open-air stage, where free concerts and a countryside vibe come together for your utmost enjoyment.

Since 1982, this magical day dreamed up by the Ministry of Culture has celebrated both established musicians and the talents of tomorrow. More than four decades after its birth, the Fête de la Musique continues to enchant France, delivering a free, live blast of sound. In Le Vésinet, in the Yvelines (78), the 2026 edition takes on a particularly special flavor as it lands right in the middle of the Fête de la Marguerite, the big local celebration held at Parc des Ibis.

The full concert lineup is still to be announced, but the city is unveiling an eclectic, festive program—perfect to properly celebrate the first summer evening. And to accompany the decibels, several activities will round out the celebration: boating on the lake, outdoor games, badminton, mini-golf, croquet, pony rides, the international singing contest Mondiovesinion, a performance by the Harmonie municipale, and dance demonstrations and workshops.

The youngest among us can join the fun too, with a high-ropes course, games specially created for the occasion by staff from the local leisure centers, playful and creative workshops, and even face painting. And to make sure nobody leaves hungry, barbecues will be on offer, while food trucks and the city’s merchants will provide a varied dining lineup—perfect for refueling between sets.

Also to note: starting Saturday, June 20, 2026, activities will already be available, including boat rides and, in the evening, concerts headlined by Vésigondin artists.
