Sunday, June 21, 2026, as part of the new Fête de la Musique, the National Eugène-Delacroix Museum invites you to experience a unique, free musical moment alongside Japanese guitarist Taïki Matsumoto.

The Fête de la musique returns across France on June 21, 2026. As every year at this time, musicians—both amateurs and professionals—take advantage of this grand, popular, and festive celebration to bring out their instruments and gift the audience with memorable moments of live music. Whether in the streets, in bars and restaurants, in parks and gardens, in churches and institutions, or in museums and cultural centers, live music rings out across Paris and the Île-de-France for an entire day and evening.

This year, for this new edition of the Fête de la musique, a wealth of music-friendly deals awaits across numerous cultural venues. Notably, the Musée national Eugène-Delacroix once again sets the tempo on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

An artist’s home and a memory-filled space, created in homage to Delacroix by the leading artists of the 1920s, the Musée Eugène Delacroix bears witness to the admiration these artists had for the painter and his work. Located in the heart of Paris, in the former apartments and studios of Eugène Delacroix, the Musée national Eugène-Delacroix forms a distinctive and captivating museum space. The cultural venue also hosts events from time to time, such as for the Fête de la musique.

Sunday, June 21, 2026, head to the garden at the Paris museum to soak in the rhythms of classical guitar alongside Japanese musician Taïki Matsumoto. Note that two concerts will be offered for the occasion; the first at 6:30 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m. These two concerts will be free to attend, but on reservation (beginning June 8).
