After the Nuit des Musées and before the Fête de la musique, another great cultural event is making Paris and its surroundings vibrate. It's called Nuit Blanche. On this unique evening, Parisians and Ile-de-France residents are invited to come and enjoy artistic events offered free of charge and at night in the four corners of the capital, and even beyond.
As a reminder, the very first Nuit Blanche was launched in 2002 by the City of Paris. The objective was simple: to offer the capital's inhabitants the chance to admire and listen to contemporary creations for one night only. And the idea worked. In recent years, the Nuit Blanche has provided an opportunity to admire sound and visual installations, performances and monumental sculptures in heritage sites, squares, bridges and gardens across Paris.
Until now staged in early October, the date for the Nuit Blanche shifted in 2023 to early June to take advantage of more favorable weather. This year, the Nuit Blanche returns on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with a slew of artistic happenings not to miss in Paris, and beyond, including Bobigny.
Located in the Seine-Saint-Denis department, the commune of Bobigny has, among its flagship projects, the creation of a new neighborhood along the Canal de l’Ourcq and a radical overhaul of the existing shopping center. The aim? To forge a genuine city center with shops, housing and offices. Culture is a top priority here, and it will prove it on June 6, 2026, during Nuit Blanche, with a program of events spread across the city.

At the Alice Guy Cinema:
In a room at the new Alice Guy cinema in Bobigny, the company 14:20 invites us inside a cave made of paper. This experience blends shadow puppetry, staged by Philippe Beau, the magic of contemporary performance, video, and light to transport the audience to an imaginary prehistory where the first images, the first marks, and the first stories appear. “In Echo” offers a visual and sensory journey where the image is born, changes, and vanishes, letting us touch prehistory as a shared memory and join the very first humans.
At the Wonder:
On June 6, the Wonder collective, set up along the Ourcq Canal in Bobigny, opens its doors for Nuit Blanche 2026 with love as the event. Wonder chooses to declare its own by sitting down to a grand banquet, the largest possible, an endless table that snakes across the hectare of parking transformed into a garden. The resident artists will coax dinner from mouths of flame embedded in the asphalt. A collective performance that will forge its own forms: tableware, furnishings, works and love poems. This banquet, an overnight adventure — warm, intimate, like a crush — imagined by the collective and its guests, speaks to all audiences, to everyone whom love still loves.
Piaille ripaille.
After the sponge is passed, the last traces are swept away, the stubborn grime that had crept into some cracks.
Tablecloths are laid, the cutlery glints on the table, candles flicker and chandeliers light up
There are nights like certain days,
the moon and the sun catching up,
they merge into the grand festival of the mad, the madly in love.
Time twists and you, beautiful one, you laugh at the jester, you race to make your pulse race.
Little spoons crack the glasses,
faces swollen with hilarity,
Climb onto your chairs, stomp your feet to shake the earth, mouths open, lubricate our throats with a gulp in full swing.
The whole world must see us and together let’s howl! together, until we’ve lost our voices.
