Exhibition, Photography, Video, Animation Films
Night of animated short films selected by the Zlín Film Festival.
Two 60-minute programs will showcase animation masterpieces for broad audiences—both young and old—from the Zlín International Film Festival for Children and Youth, a leading reference in Central European animation. The films extend the themes explored in the exhibition through movement, storytelling, and the poetry of the moving image.
Pop-Up Nuit Blanche 2026 - This event brings together eight Czech and Slovak contemporary artists based in or working in Paris, whose practice reflects transnational trajectories and a continuous dialogue between cultures, memories, and visual languages.
The selection presented by the Zlín Festival highlights prize-winning films from major international festivals, created by established filmmakers and emerging talents. It sensitively engages with themes such as childhood, family, memory, environment, and collective responsibility.
Artists featured:
• Iveta Bradačová – Intuitive abstract painting grounded in color, gesture, and material.
• Barbora Křížová – Photography blending documentary and fiction, focused on adolescence, memory, and the intimate.
• Tereza Lochmann – Hybrid practice combining engraving, painting, and sculpture, nourished by outsider art and visual storytelling.
• Kristína Mésároš – Narrative painting close to magical realism, built from symbols and lived experiences.
• Marta Morice – Multidisciplinary practice fusing drawing, painting, and installation, exploring visual language, perception, and notions of identity and transformation.
• Catherine Radosa – Video and textual installations probing speech, collective narrative, and public space.
• Adéla Strnadová – Drawing and engraving around portraiture, otherness, and daily life observation.
• Alžbeta Wolfová – Photography and installation at the crossroads of art and scientific research.
