A mobile artwork to spread love: Barbara Butch's Nuit Blanche 2026 in Paris

Normally: the Nuit Blanche is back for a new edition this Saturday, June 6, 2026. Since 2002, this major event has taken over the capital each year. Throughout the night, artists and art enthusiasts come together to celebrate contemporary art in all its forms.

Sure enough, it’s striking! Nuit Blanche is a truly nocturne event, during which anything can happen. Each edition comes with its own vibe, thanks to a program that’s constantly refreshed. Thus, Parisians enjoy wonderful surprises and quirky events at every edition. And this year 2026 is no exception...

This Saturday, June 6, artist and DJ Barbara Butch will helm this nocturnal arts event, centered on the theme of love. For the occasion, Barbara Butch has lined up several installations and performances to discover across the four corners of the capital. Keep your eyes open—here’s one you won’t want to miss!

  conceived by Barbara Butch especially for Nuit Blanche, On s’aime is a participatory video artwork that turns Paris into a stage for collective love. In the run-up to the event, a call for participation invited Parisians to share a simple, universal on-camera declaration: “We love each other” — solo, as a couple, with family, or with friends. Filmed in various spots around the city, these testimonies form a collaborative video piece, imagined as a kaleidoscope of faces and a sequence of loving words.
  During Nuit Blanche, the videos will be shown on circulating LED trucks through Paris, letting voices and faces converse and revealing the richness of stories, sensitivities, and ties that weave through the capital. With this joyful, inclusive setup, Barbara Butch transforms public space into a place for sharing and encounters, where love is freely expressed and becomes a visible, collective, luminous experience.
