As the Olympic Games take hold of Paris, the City of Light transforms itself into the capital of the world. One by one, the foreign delegations unveil a fine program of events and ephemeral concepts designed to promote their respective cultures alongside the festive events. Already a highly cosmopolitan city, Paris is becoming more multicultural than ever as these events contribute to making the Olympics 2024 an unforgettable event.
At theSwiss Embassy, the general public is invited to discover a new venue specially designed for the Olympic Games 2024. In this spot usually closed to the public, visitors can now discover Maison Suisse, an ephemeral concept taking place in the gardens of the Embassy. Open to the public, this unique venue will be open daily during the Olympic Games, from July 24 to August 11, 2024, and during the Paralympic Games, from August 27 to September 8, 2024. Here, we should find a restaurant, as well as a vast program of festive events to thrill Parisians of a day and always while being the standard-bearer of Swiss culture.
It's an opportunity to discover Swiss specialities in a catering concept that we're promised will be "creative", as well as artists through exhibitions in the heart of these bucolic gardens, and a "public projection zone" allowing visitors to follow the Olympic Games events and medal ceremonies. There will also be entertainment for young and old, concerts by Swiss and French artists, DJ sets and even stand-up comedy!
Gastronomy, art, music and more - that's how Switzerland intends to bring the spirit of the Olympic Games to the capital!
