Echoing a previous exhibition, La ville fertile. Vers une nature urbaine, the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine presents Jardiner la ville, a family workshop-exhibition, from April 12, 2025. Imagined as a truly immersive experience, the exhibition invites visitors to rethink the city of tomorrow around the values of sustainability.
An exhibition-workshop is bound to include fun ways of manipulating, testing and discovering... Using some of your senses. The Jardiner la ville exhibition was therefore designed around a large, manipulable model representing an urban landscape transformed by nature. It showcases a number of ways in which the city can be made greener, more sustainable and, in short, more habitable. Shared gardens, green facades, rooftop gardens, urban farms... The exhibition is designed as an interactive experience to help you think about the city of tomorrow.
Already presented in 2011 at the Cité de l'Architecture, Jardiner la ville has been updated in 2019 and presented in some thirty French cities. It now marks its return to the Cité de l'Architecture, and is recommended for the whole family, from age 6 upwards. Family workshops and creative activities are also available.
To discover Jardiner la ville, expect to pay €13 full price, €10 concessions, and no admission charge for under-18s!
