After theexhibition, the graphic workshop... On June 21, 2025, the Bibliothèque André Malraux in Paris's 6th arrondissement invites youngsters to join illustrator Aurélia Fronty for a graphic workshop. Held as part of the Brazil-France 2025 Season, the workshop invites children to plunge into the world of Muriel Bloch's tale, L'enfant, le jaguar et le feu, to compose their own vision of the Amazon jungle, using oil pastels and a colorful background.
Under the watchful eye ofAurélia Fronty, the youngest members of the family discover a world bursting with bold colors, mysterious animals and dreamlike characters inspired by the fairy tale staged by Muriel Bloch in the show of the same name.
Theworkshop opens with the discovery of graphic research plates created by the artist. Each participant is then invited to choose his or her own point of view: observing the forest through the prism of plants, focusing on the animals, or bringing out the story's characters in a personal jungle corner.
Aurélia Fronty is no stranger to the world of design. Born in Paris, she trained in textile design at theDupérré school before making a name for herself in the women's press and, above all, in children's publishing, where she has already signed the illustrations for over fifty albums. Her work, marked by a love of popular arts, motifs and nature, is as much at home in the fairy-tale windows of Printemps Haussmann as in the everyday objects she has designed for Fragonard, Djeco and the publisher Carte d'art.
Her approach to drawing as an intimate conversation, where emotion finds its place in every gesture and every hue, makes this workshop much more than a simple creative moment: it's a true sensory plunge into the Brazilian universe.
If your little ones have always dreamed of recreating the magic of the jungle, exploring another culture through the visual arts, or sharing a moment of complicity with the family in a calm and friendly atmosphere, this workshop is for them. Open to all, this event is perfect for a family outing, a moment of complicity with your children or a time of shared creativity.
And what will you draw? A clearing inhabited by a curious jaguar? A thousand-year-old tree with magical roots? Or perhaps a river where the reflections of sacred fire dance? Don't miss this rendez-vous at the crossroads of art, storytelling and Brazil. An invitation to see, feel and imagine differently, in the enchanting setting of the Brazil-France 2025 Season.
