After several short films, director Fabrice Bracq is about to release his first feature film, the comedy"Joyeuse Retraite!" due on VOD March 25, 2020.
In addition to directing, he is also penning the film's dialogues, in collaboration with Guillaume Clicquot de Mentque, whose original idea he is adapting. Guillaume Clicquot de Mentque was also behind the idea behind the film"Papa ou Maman", starring Marina Foïs and Laurent Lafitte.
In"Joyeuse Retraite!", Fabrice Bracq reunites Thierry Lhermitte (already seen this year in"All Inclusive"), Michèle Laroque (currently in"Premier de la Classe"), Omar Mebrouk, Judith Magre (whose last film appearance was in Paul Verhoeven's"Elle" in 2016), comedian Nicole Ferroni (also starring in"Premier de la Classe"), who appeared on"On n'demande qu'en rire", Gérémy Crédeville and Michel Cymes.
Synopsis:
Philippe and Marilou are preparing for their retirement. To finally have some peace and quiet, they're moving to sunny Portugal. But when their daughter separates from her boyfriend with a bang, the demands keep coming, and the peaceful, sunny retirement they had imagined for themselves is obviously not going to go as planned...
