Playing about thirty movies per week, UGC Gobelins movie theater – set in Paris 13th arrondissement – mostly plays movies released domestically every week.
Inside, 11 rooms are featured in UGC Gobelins that underwent a makeover a few years ago. As in all UGC movie theater, movies are available in original version or with subtitles. Also enjoy movie staged with the UGC labels such as the label UGC M or UGC Family enabling you to see what movies are more fitted for viewers. A few previews are also held at UGC Gobelins and when the movie is fit, 3D screenings for extra €2 are played.
And for now over 10 years, UGC group throws the Viva l'Opéra operation that consists in discovering lyrical works and ballets on a big screen. In addition to these screenings, (re)discover cult movies that marked the history of movies with UGC Culte screenings such as Gran Torino by Clint Eastwood currently played. UGC Docs screenings are also held at the movie theater set by the Porte Maillot and consist in screening documentaries on different topics. For the youngest ones, Disney heritage screenings are held on Sunday mornings, playing classic animated movies enjoyed by children and grown-ups. And for UGC club members, club nights with exclusive screenings or events are held at UGC Gobelins.
Not far from there, 260 meters away, you’ll run into the Galerie des Gobelins providing you with temporary exhibitions and guided tours. Also nearby, the Place d’Italie where is set shopping mall Italie 2 providing over 130 stores. And a 6-minute walk from there, you’ll have Dao, an exceptional Chinese restaurant.
