Can a life of crime end with a good deed? In The Bad Guys, five crooks find themselves forced to stand up for that idea in order to dodge prison. TFX will broadcast this DreamWorks animated comedy on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 9:10 PM.
Director Pierre Perifel adapts Aaron Blabey's children's book series around a bet: assembling animals usually labeled as dangerous and then giving them the chance to swap roles. Mr. Wolf leads this crew, where a snake, a shark, a piranha and a tarantula combine their skills to pull off heists. Their so-called reform is initially just a ruse; it becomes more awkward when their leader begins to relish acts of selflessness.
In French theaters on April 6, 2022, the film draws on the heist movie playbook, assembling a crack team of specialists and a cast of undercover alter egos. Pierre Niney voices Mr. Wolf in the French version, alongside Igor Gotesman, Jean-Pascal Zadi, Doully, and Benoît Cauden. Alice Belaïdi voices Diane Foxington.
