But don't despair, your ordeal will soon be over: Christmas movies are officially back. And it's even earlier than usual, of course, as Halloween hasn't even started yet! The TF1 group has announced that it will start broadcasting Christmas TV movies from October 15 , 2023, on its TMC channel.
Weather permitting, you'll be able to curl up under a blanket, ready to discover the adventures of this dynamic young executive who has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and must return to her hometown to find it again, where she'll find love, rest assured. Even if we know the plot of these TV movies in advance, we have to admit that we're all fond of them!
The fact that these films start airing so early may come as a surprise: in the past, TF1 would wait until at least November 1, to let Halloween pass, before starting the end-of-year celebrations, but in recent years, the trend has moved on. "Every year, TV movies are broadcast earlier and earlier, and it's working. Audiences are good. And the French need comfort," TF1 explained toEurope 1 last year.
The date is set, and TMC will be broadcasting unreleased films throughout the morning from 10:35 a.m. until 6:55 p.m., in case you missed them last year. Five TV movies will be shown one after the other, starting on October 15 with"L'Admirateur secret de Noël", followed by"10 choses à faire pour un Noël parfait". On TF1 and M6, you'll have to wait a little longer to dive into the Christmas festivities all day long!
