To get young people interested in cinema once again, MK2 is offering special screenings of Youtube videos projected onto the big screen. On September 5, 2025, a preview of Terminal, Michou's new concept, is on the program!
Between the price of tickets and the choice of films, many French people have abandoned cinemas in favor of streaming platforms, especially the younger ones. MK2 cinemas are trying to bring them back, by showing Youtube videos on the big screen! 2-hour screenings of cult videos or previews, with the participation of content creators themselves.
The cinema chain, in partnership with Youtube, has thus created its own special ciné-club, believing that the two industries are complementary, starting in February 2024 with a live show featuring the exceptional presence of Joyca and Géraldine Nakache, live at the mk2 Bibliothèque cinema in Paris and broadcast simultaneously to partner cinemas.
The program for these screenings includes popular videos that have marked the history of Youtube France, previews of content"linked to cinematographic creation and compatible with the big screen", as well as Q&A sessions, autograph signings and giant quizzes. This time, youtuber Michou is previewing the first episode of his "Terminal" concept on September 5, 2025, in almost 500 cinemas, before its release on Youtube two days later!
In an abandoned airport, 16 content creators are unleashed on an intense 48-hour manhunt. Divided into eight duos, they must survive while being hunted by ruthless pursuers, guided by a mysterious "Game Master".
