After 4 seasons and a comeback ten years later, the Prison Break series will soon be back on our screens. The American platform Hulu has ordered a spin-off of the series, but without the duo of actors who made it famous.

Prison Break was a hit on M6 between 2005 and 2009, and made a comeback in 2017. In 2024, with Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows (respectively played by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell) out of the picture , the series will make a comeback, but with all-new characters. American platform Hulu, which is owned by Disney, has ordered a Prison Break spin-off series set in the same universe, but without the main characters.

For the moment, no details have been provided as to a possible release date, or even a synopsis, but this new series is presented by Deadline, the American media outlet that unveiled the project, as a "new chapter" in the Prison Break story. We can expect a number of secondary characters to make their return in this new show, too. All we know is that showrunner Elgin James (Mayans M.C . ) will produce and write this new-generation Prison Break, and that the series will probably be available on Disney+ .
