Finally, something concrete for The Fantastic 4! Marvel has announced on social networks a release date for the reboot of the superhero team previously owned by Fox, as well as the complete casting for the four heroes with amazing powers. To see the film in theaters, however, we'll have to wait a little longer, as it's scheduled for July 25, 2025.
As far as casting is concerned, the suspense is now over: Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, will play the part of Reed Richards, the Elastic Man. A rumor surrounding the actor's arrival in the role is no longer a rumor.
Happy Valentine's Day from Marvel's First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four.

Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, will be played by Vanessa Kirby (Mission Impossible, Napoleon), Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, will be played by Jospeh Quinn (Eddie Munson in season 4 of Stranger Things) and Ben Grimm, known as The Thing, will be played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach(The Bear). The film will be directed by Matt Shakman, best known for his work on WandaVision.
Since their first cinematic appearance in 2005, The Fantastic 4 have gone through many trials and tribulations, oscillating between success and disappointment. Their last attempt, in 2015, left fans and critics wanting more, with an approach deemed too dark and far removed from the essence of the characters. But today, Marvel, backed by Disney, seems ready to give the Fantastic 4 the glory they deserve. A character that has already come under the Marvel Studios umbrella, since an "alternative multiversal version" of the character appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness under the guise of John Krasinski.
The film's first poster, unveiled on Valentine's Day, offers a promising retro glimpse of the heroes in their new finery. Although the identity of the iconic antagonist, Doctor Doom, remains a mystery, the announcement of this new adaptation is already setting the Web ablaze. By choosing a summer release date, Marvel is banking on the usual craze for blockbusters during this period, hoping that this new iteration will finally capture the essence and success that The Fantastic 4 deserve!
