The Orphans on Netflix: Alban Lenoir and Dali Benssalah forced into an alliance

The Orphans arrives on Netflix, bringing together two childhood friends who have ended up on opposite sides of the law. Olivier Schneider reunites Alban Lenoir and Dali Benssalah in the wake of a shared bereavement and a teenager determined to get justice.

Gab is a police officer with the IGPN, while Driss works for gangsters. Estranged since they left the orphanage, they must work together after the suspicious death of their first love. Her daughter, Leïla, 17, sets out to investigate a company she believes is responsible.

Released in theaters on August 20, 2025, the film is produced by Inoxy Films, also behind Lost Bullet. The screenplay is co-written by Olivier Schneider and Nicolas Peufaillit; Suzanne Clément and Anouk Grinberg are also in the cast.
