Prime Video announces Masterplan, its first French-Italian Original film, directed by Thomas Vincent (Bodyguard, Reacher) and co-written with David Wolstencroft. Filming has just begun in France and Italy for an upcoming release on thePrime Video platform.
In this spectacular crime comedy, a legendary thief (Stanley Tucci) sets his sights on a priceless prize: the Mona Lisa. To pull off the heist of the century, he brings together two young talents: Chiara (Simona Tabasco), a brilliant Italian hacker, and Jay (Victor Belmondo), a French explosives expert. But the mission takes an unexpected turn when he reveals that they are brother and sister... and that he is their father. This improvised family will have to learn to work together—without killing each other—if they hope to get out alive.

Produced by Gaumont and Amazon MGM Studios, the film is shot in English and combines humor, action, and family emotions. The screenplay, written by Giacomo Durzi, Alessandro Fabbri, Alberto Vignati, David Wolstencroft, and Thomas Vincent, promises a mix of international heist movie and character comedy, in the vein of The Italian Job or Ocean's Eleven.
Masterplan features a European cast led by Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada), Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus), and Victor Belmondo (Bastion 36), in an elegant and fast-paced production filmed in Rome, Paris, and the French Riviera.
