Rolling Stones fans have a date with the cinema this fall! The famous British rock band is coming to the big screen on December 10, 2025, with the screening of their concert film "Rolling Stones - At The Max."
For one week only, come and relive their famous concert captured during their "Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle" tour on the big screen. Thirty-five years ago, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman performed a series of shows in Europe, notably in London, Turin, and Berlin.
What makes this concert, filmed in 1990, so special? It is the first concert in history to be filmed with IMAX cameras. The images immerse the viewer in the heart of the audience, revealing incredible performances of "Start Me Up," "Ruby Tuesday," "Paint It Black," "Sympathy for the Devil," "Brown Sugar," and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction."
First released in 1991, the film is coming back to life at the end of this year on IMAX screens, 35 years after the British rock band's iconic tour. So where should you go in Paris to see " Rolling Stones – At The Max " on the big screen from December 10, 2025? Pathé has announced that the film will be screened in the 19th arrondissement of the capital, more precisely at La Géode.
Located in the Parc de la Villette, La Géode is a one-of-a-kind building. The shimmering sphere, made up of 6,433 polished stainless steel triangles, measures 36 meters in diameter! But La Géode is also known for offering an immersive experience thanks to IMAX laser projection and IMAX 6.0 precision sound. After six years of renovation work,La Géode reopened its doors on December 18, 2024. The screening of the film " Rolling Stones – At The Max " is therefore the perfect opportunity to (re)discover this unique venue in Paris while enjoying a legendary Rolling Stones concert.
