On Monday, June 8, 2026, the Grand Rex will host an exceptional event screening of Michael, the biopic devoted to the King of Pop. After screenings warmly received by fans thanks to pre-Show performances, the venue has decided to repeat the experience with a final immersive session, before the film leaves the programming. On the program, a 40-minute live show fully dedicated to the star’s universe and a giant karaoke to echo Michael Jackson’s greatest hits.
For this special evening, the film directed by Antoine Fuqua will be shown in the legendary Grande Salle on its massive stage screen, in the original version with subtitles (VOST-FR). But what promises to be truly memorable is the opening: for nearly 40 minutes, an exclusive show will ignite the stage, plunging the audience back into the artist’s iconic choreography and worldwide hits.
Driven by Jaafar Jackson’s performance, the film traces an extraordinary journey, the unforgettable onstage moments, and the complexity of one of the most influential figures in music history. Note, seating is unassigned—the hunt for the perfect seat—facing the giant screen to fully enjoy the visual and sonic show—will turn into a real obstacle course.
To avoid ending up stuck at the very back of the upper balconies, you’ll need to plan ahead and queue early along the Grands Boulevards long before the doors open. On the budget, expect €19, a premium compared with a standard screening.
