The Yvelines region is going into open-air cinema mode with a series of free screenings of films for the general public from August 15 to September 13, 2025, in no fewer than 78 communes. Whether in Sartrouville, Poissy or Montesson, you'll be able to enjoy a film under the stars!
Action, light... and the great outdoors - The 14th edition of Yvelines Ciné hits the big screen from August 15 to September 13, 2025. Under starry skies, in 78 locations across the 78, this film festival puts the film in relaxation mode, with free screenings for all ages, sharing the magic of the 7th art... outdoors, of course.
The Département des Yvelines is playing the role of chief operator, setting up the projector in places as varied as bucolic villages and priority districts of major cities, in order to be as close as possible to its public. What's on the bill? A colorful program of cartoons, comedies, adventure and science-fiction films, not forgetting the cult favorites that thrill movie fans.
The instructions are simple: each spectator settles comfortably into a deckchair decked out in the Department's colors, ready to watch the big screen light up as night falls. But wait, the show doesn't start just yet! Before the credits roll, some communes are planning events such as moonlit picnics and food-trucks to satisfy the hungriest of appetites. A real ciné-sociable break under the stars!
In short, this summer, Yvelines is going into cine-paradise mode. Yvelines Ciné brings the 7th art out of the cinemas and under the stars!
