The Transporter 2, an action film directed by Louis Leterrier from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, airs on TF1 on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 9:10 PM. A few days later, the saga’s second chapter will also join the catalogue of Netflix, allowing audiences to rediscover Jason Statham in one of his most iconic roles.
Released in 2005, The Transporter II reunites Frank Martin, now living in Miami where he works as a driver for a powerful family. When he’s involuntarily drawn into the kidnapping of the son of a top anti-drug official, he must once again put his fighting and driving skills to work to thwart a sprawling conspiracy.
More spectacular than its predecessor, this second installment ramps up even more jaw‑dropping stunts, choreographed fights, and a relentless pace. Jason Statham shares top billing with Amber Valletta, Alessandro Gassmann, Kate Nauta, Hunter Clary, and reunites with François Berléand in the role of Inspector Tarconi.
Following the broadcast of the first film on TF1 last week, the channel keeps the franchise going with this sequel, ahead of its Netflix debut. Fans will be able to binge the first two installments—first on TV, then in streaming.
With its flair for spectacle and its unflappable hero, Le Transporteur II cemented Jason Statham’s status as a defining figure of 2000s action cinema and helped entrench the franchise in the public imagination.
