The 2024 César awards ceremony takes place tonight! The high mass of French cinema is set to reverberate in the legendary Olympia hall, and once again crown the most outstanding French works of the year. One of the favorites is Anatomie d'une Chute (Anatomy of a Fall), which is likely to win a good number of awards.

Justine Triet 's film has been nominated in no fewer than 10 categories, including the prestigious 'Best Film', 'Best Direction', 'Best Actress' for Sandra Hüller, 'Best Original Screenplay', 'Best Cinematography' and 'Best Editing'.

But other French films are also doing well, and seem to be well on their way to the 2024 Césars, such as Thomas Cailley's stunning Règne Animal , or Jean-Baptiste Durand 's Chien de la Casse, starring the revelation Raphaël Quenard - himself nominated in the 'Male Revelation' and 'Best Actor' categories.
