In terms of experience, it's worth mentioning that Bomb Squad is the first venue in Paris to offer a "grid" room — a space featuring a luminous tile pattern on the floor where players must avoid certain squares, tapping into a popular trend in immersive experiences across the Channel. Among the other mini-games, expect a memory challenge, puzzles, and laser dodging — just like in a classic spy or action movie! The final room, of course, requires you to disarm a ticking bomb within a set time, which you'll have earned by success in the previous stages. But beware: if you lose, you might get caught in a paint splash (you’re provided with a jumpsuit before entering the last room, so keep an eye on your clothes and shoes if you prefer to stay clean...).

Our Test of Bomb Squad:

An experience that our team definitely put through its paces, just for you! And honestly, we were pleasantly surprised by how engaging it was. Each room challenges you to think quickly or move fast, offering a fairly diverse set of skills to test—such as agility, speed, reasoning, and memory. At first, you fumble to understand how the challenges work, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be racing against the clock to improve your scores and save precious time for the final test. It’s quite active but not overly intense, making it a great way to burn off some energy with friends.

We particularly enjoyed the laser room—definitely not as easy as it looks to navigate (you might want to watch your shoulders)—and the "grid" room, which is a must-see for fans of this type of challenge (and incidentally, our top score!). It’s perfect for family outings, hanging out with friends, or team-building with colleagues, and that’s what matters most!

The final room, where you have to defuse a bomb, requires cool-headedness and precision. You’ll remotely control a demining robot using various controllers, all displayed on a screen, aiming to shoot down ten targets faster than your previous best times in the earlier challenges. The robot is user-friendly, but coordination, clear communication, and quick reflexes are essential. In just over four minutes, we took out six targets out of ten. Not bad, but the paint explosion—quite spectacular—still got us.

As for your gear, don’t worry—you're well covered from head to toe! The risk of damaging your personal effects is minimal. Keep in mind, only about 5% of participants manage to defuse the bomb, so a paint shower (mixed with water, similar to paintball) is almost guaranteed. And for the 5% who succeed, a t-shirt and a comic book about the experience are offered once you're done (the comic is currently in production).
