Here's a most unexpected marriage... LEGO Group and Epic Games are teaming up to offer regular gamers on the video game publisher's Battle Royale a completely crazy mode: LEGO Fortnite. A new Battle Royal game mode, integrated just days after the release of Chapter 5 season 1, Subversion, scheduled for release on Fortnite on December 7, 2023. This December 6, a first trailer was also unveiled, just to get players in the mood.
What does this game mode consist of? Nothing very different from the classic Battle Royal: you'll have to survive opponents while creating numerous constructions. Explore the vast worlds on offer"where the magic of LEGO construction blends with the fabulous world of Fortnite", as explained in a press release fromEpic Games. Note that this game mode has been designed so that people of all ages can have fun together... Ideal for introducing children to Fortnite without throwing them straight into the deep end. Remember, though, that the mode is rated PEGI 7... So don't put it in everyone's hands.
Note that LEGO Fortnite also wants to encourage"creativity, experimentation and collaboration through play". And a long-term partnership between Epic and The LEGO Group that should delight as many LEGO and Fortnite fans as possible... To your controllers!
