Rush Action Game, the indoor gaming venue located in Paris near Bastille, has just added a new challenge to its lineup with a Grid — a room filled with illuminated tiles that players must walk across (note: this is a special flooring). Opened on December 2, 2024, this indoor entertainment spot offers families and groups of friends a series of physical and tactical challenges designed to be tackled in teams of 2 to 5 players.

Calling allaction game fans! Rush Action Game, an adventure game store located in the 11th arrondissement, a stone's throw from Place de la Bastille, has been waiting for you to enjoy a moment of fun and (slightly) physical challenges since December 2, 2024. The brand invites families, friends and colleagues to test their skills in ten different challenges spread over as many rooms. The aim? Accumulate as many points as possible in a bid to be among the top scorers.

Spanning 400 m², participants navigate through a mix of physical challenges, strategic tasks, and skill-based games. Among the activities on offer, players can test their memory with a blind test, dodge laser beams, or try to stay balanced on a lava floor. According to the organizers, each room features "a unique challenge set within a spectacular backdrop", providing a diverse range of experiences suitable for everyone. And starting in 2026, a new addition joins the lineup: a Grid. What’s that about? It’s a room with illuminated tiles on the floor, where players must step on specific tiles to light them up in a particular pattern (or engage in other gameplay modes).

Our Review of Rush Action Game:

We had the chance to try out this spot... One evening, we arrived at a spacious, brightly lit venue. Just a quick note if you plan to visit: the place doesn’t front a street, so you'll need to pass through a gate and enter an inner courtyard to find the establishment, which is clearly visible thanks to its neon signs. Once inside, the welcoming and lively vibe instantly puts you in the right mood for fun.

We headed over to the lockers, which are large enough to store a backpack and your jacket. Some lockers even have power outlets, so you can charge your phone during the session. It’s advisable to remove rings or jewelry before playing—to avoid losing them or injuring yourself (we’ve had this happen). Before starting, you can order a drink or help yourself to water from a fountain, perfect for staying hydrated before you sweat through the challenge.

Next, we headed to the entrance of the first room to listen to the instructions, then it was time to dive in! The challenges are diverse and incredibly fun. A special mention for the first room’s blind test, which sets the tone and re-energizes you for the rest of the session. We won’t spoil all the surprises, but know that most of the challenges stand out from what other venues in this genre typically offer (and that’s really the point of Rush Action Game). It’s fast-paced, lively, with cool decor, testing your reflexes, knowledge, and agility. Don’t worry though—nothing is insurmountable.

We had a blast trying to build a giant Jenga that threatened to topple at any moment, or twisting into odd positions to succeed in the Rush Action Game version of The Floor is Lava. The finale, by the way, is worthy of Fort Boyard! Overall, we loved it! Also worth noting—an excellent initiative—is that depending on your score, the venue donates part of the proceeds to a charity, in this case Wing of the Ocean. All in all, we highly recommend booking a session to experience it yourself and form your own opinion!

In addition to challenges, Rush Action Game also offers private spaces for events such as birthdays, team-building sessions or parties with friends. An adventure for all ages, for those who love a challenge as much as for those who want to share a moment of conviviality in a fun, immersive environment. All that's left for you to do is find out... Shall we book a session?
