The synopsis of Inkobini:

« inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is a slow-paced, contemplative game that explores themes of connection, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Play as Makoto Hayakawa, a student taking a break from her studies to run a small-town convenience store while her aunt is away. Stock the shelves, help your customers, listen to their stories, and discover how even the tiniest choices you make can impact their lives...»

This cosy game falls somewhere between a management game and a narrative experience. It’s all about taking your time, slowing down, and savoring the small joys of everyday life. Tasks are straightforward, the atmosphere feels peaceful and and the music invites you to unwind and relax.

It's now our job to run our aunt's grocery store. The shop is open 24/7, with customers coming and going at a relaxed pace. We chat with them, help solve minor issues, and offer advice to add a bit of joy to their day. We stock shelves, organize the aisles, prepare orders, and scan items... The chaos of the outside world doesn’t make its way through those doors. Plus, there are no notifications and no smartphones: the game is set in the 1990s, a time close enough to feel familiar but distant enough to give it a nostalgic charm.

The game takes place entirely within the store's walls. However, players are encouraged to explore every corner, uncovering hidden details and fragments of storytelling. As the narrative unfolds, Makoto, the protagonist, gradually uncovers memories connected to the shop, its customers, and his aunt.

It’s worth noting that, at the moment, the game isn’t available in French. The demo is played in English, and it’s likely that the full game will be entirely in English as well.

Take a moment to relax and immerse yourself in this little corner of Japan. The game's release date is expected to be announced soon.
