Call of Duty fires back with a new update... Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, a video game developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision, available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, brings with Call of Duty: Warzone its Season 3 Recharged on April 30, 2026. This mid-season update adds new multiplayer maps, a brand-new Zombies map, temporary Warzone modes, weapons and several events.
The update mostly adds new ways to play. In multiplayer, players will discover Onsen, a map set in a hot springs resort, as well as revisit Summit in a remastered version and Hacienda. The Freerun mode will have you sprinting, jumping, and aiming as fast as possible through an obstacle course, while Heat Wave Havoc will reward team-minded plays. In Warzone, Pursuit will pit teams in vehicle battles on Avalon, and Royal Chameleon will transform Rebirth Island into a big 24-versus-24 hide-and-seek playground.
Season 3 Reloaded keeps the clash between JSOC and the Guild at the center of the action. With Karma’s help, Cole “Javelin” Donovan breaches the enemy’s network, giving his side a temporary edge. In Zombies mode, the new map Totenreich drops players into a long-abandoned Norwegian fishing village swallowed by the Dark Ether. The team uncovers Group 935’s experiments, faces new foes like the Necropincer, and wields a unique weapon, the Jotunn Star.
Beyond these additions, the season also brings a slate of extra gameplay elements. Warzone introduces Spikes, temporary boosts that enhance operators’ abilities, along with the fragmentation grenade. Two new weapons round out the arsenal: the Siren, a special projectile weapon, and the Katana for close-quarters combat. Midseason events are also on offer, including a Passe événement RoboCop that unlocks an operator and a range of cosmetic items.
Finally, the Endgame mode remains freely accessible for a limited time and offers Act II: Broken Mirror Operation, with new objectives, rewards, and a brand-new ability. It remains to be seen whether this Season 3 Recharged will manage to keep players hooked over the long run, as new maps, time-limited modes, and additions are rolled out to reignite the action.
