The tactical RPG inspired by Dungeons & Dragons moves into a new chapter of its development. Available in early access on Steam, Solasta II rolls out a free update focused on online multiplayer. Up to four players can now team up to explore the continent of Neokos, a feature the community has been eagerly awaiting since the launch of this Solasta: Crown of the Magister sequel.
The video released by Tactical Adventures spotlights cooperative gameplay sequences where four players coordinate their actions in turn-based combat. The trailer demonstrates how teammates can support one another, the combined use of class abilities against the Neokos creatures, and a visual showcase of the powers of the new playable class.
Beyond online co-op, this update introduces the Occultist (Warlock) class, bringing fresh customization options and magic for character creation. The downloadable content also adds new scripted events, UI tweaks, and additional cosmetic items.
"The multiplayer mode is now available! We know players have been waiting for it, and we want to thank them for their patience. The tabletop RPGs we love – and which inspire us as a studio – are inherently collaborative experiences, best shared with friends", said Mathieu Girard, Creative Director of Solasta II and President of Tactical Adventures, noting that this feature will continue to evolve based on feedback during early access.
The title incorporates the official rules of Dungeons & Dragons 2024 and features an English voice cast led by Devorah Wilde (Baldur’s Gate 3) and Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33). The game is currently available on Steam in early access.
The Paris-based studio will continue updating its roadmap over the coming months, progressively adding new narrative chapters, tactical balance tweaks, and community features ahead of the final release.
