Whether with friends or family, if you're looking to spend the day or afternoon competing in a variety of activities, head for Val d'Europe, a stone's throw from Disneyland Paris, in the new indoor leisure hub ofImagi Park, where you'll find SpeedPark with its go-kart track, bowling alley, laser game and many other activities to share for unforgettable moments with your loved ones!
Less than an hour's commute from the capital on the RER A, this huge 5,300m2 two-storey space awaits you from 11am to midnight, or 1am depending on the day, for non-stop fun in one place! On the menu: an intense karting track, 12 billiard tables, 25 bowling lanes, 400m2 of arcade games, 300m3 of laser games, 3 karaoke/quiz rooms and a bar, for refreshments after so much effort!
If you can't try out everything, choose your favorite activities, but the prices mean you can choose at least two sessions to diversify, without breaking the bank, even with the whole family. For example, a game of laser tag costs just 8.90 per person, but lasts 15 minutes.
And since it's not possible to reserve your slot in advance, it's best to show up as soon as you arrive, so you can keep the sessions going without having to wait too long in between, even though there's plenty to keep you busy, to say the least!
In teams of four, we arrived for a game of go-karting, and obviously, having a license doesn't always help! Also, if you're coming as a family, adults and children can't ride together for safety reasons. After all, electric karts can go up to 55km/h, and their speed in a straight line is impressive! Once you've been briefed, you put on your helmet and neck brace to protect yourself, then climb aboard.
After a warm-up lap at low speed to get a feel for the track, you hit the gas and try to negotiate the corners as best you can without getting stuck (in which case, an employee rushes in to get you back in the game quickly), to overtake your rivals and try to set the best possible time, using both the brake and the gas pedal.
Spanning 200m and two levels, the track features a number of tight bends, in brightly colored orange tones for an energetic package, which didn't fail to get our adrenalin pumping. All we can say is that your journalist won't be embarking on a career as an F1 driver.
But that in no way detracts from the genuine pleasure our team had in competing against each other - quite the opposite, in fact. Price: €19.90 for a 10-minute session, and €14.90 for younger players.
Then it's on to the 12-euro quarter-hour of virtual reality, where you can choose your game, from escape games to zombie-killing to more family-oriented sessions, as you wish. For our part, we're off to thezombie invasion, armed with our VR headset and rifle, for a few minutes of zapping infamous creatures to the last man, which shouldn't worry the least bit of horror fans. Mission accomplished, we get through without too many casualties!
We finish with a laser game of the same duration, but even less expensive, for 8.90 euros in a universe populated by aliens, at the heart of a fluorescent labyrinth where the walls hide your enemies, who can appear from anywhere. The plan is simple, but the fluorescent lighting and otherworldly designs add a fitting ambience.
You can also enjoy a game of bowling (7.9€), speed quizzes on the theme of your choice and cheaper karaoke sessions on weekdays, the many pool tables scattered around the areas (6.50€ per 30 minutes) or arcade games, depending on your preferences. In terms of packages, the €34 package offers karting, bowling and laser from Monday to Thursday, while happy hour offers a 3rd game for every 2 purchased on the same activity, except on Saturdays.
Of course, for children's and adults' birthdays or special events, other formulas are available to create a tailor-made experience, from 20 to 35 euros per person. Please note that minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a family or professional relationship.
We love the fact that you can stay until very late to enjoy the place until the end of the evening, in a very pleasant nocturnal atmosphere, but if you can come during the week, it's still less crowded than at weekends, and less expensive!
The venue is very large, complete, clean and perfectly placed, just a stone's throw from the RER station, and if you want more, KoJump and Fort Boyard Aventures are accessible in the same building, as is Wonderwoods, an immersive restaurant.
This test was conducted as part of a professional invitation. If your experience differs from ours, please let us know.
