Avenue de la Grande-Armée, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, the Partouche Pasino Club officially opens on May 12, 2026. This new Parisian gaming club replaces the old space on Rue de Berri and spans 8,500 m², with nearly half devoted to gaming, backed by a €100 million investment and more than 200 hires, 60% of them croupiers. We toured the venue in advance and we’re bringing you the full story.
First important clarification: contrary to what its name might suggest, this isn’t a casino in the strict sense. In France, casinos have been banned within a 100-kilometer radius of Paris since 1919, as authorities at the time feared they would fuel debt among the working classes. A single exception was granted in 1931 to the spa town of Enghien-les-Bains in Val-d'Oise, which today hosts France's largest casino. The Partouche Casino Club positions itself as a gaming club, a distinct legal category with solid oversight. To better understand this distinction, Sortiraparis devoted an article on the topic.
When it comes to gaming options, the venue doesn’t have much to envy a classic casino. The first three floors are entirely devoted to gaming, with around a hundred tables in total. On the first floor, you’ll find 35 tables of table games: blackjack, punto banco, ultimate poker, craps and three-card poker. The club is, moreover, the only one in Paris to offer craps. The second floor is entirely dedicated to poker, with cash-game tables (Texas Hold'em, Omaha) and tournaments. In total, 53 poker tables are available, including 9-player configurations for tournaments. The whole venue can accommodate more than 1,000 people, making it the largest gaming establishment in the capital.
To shape its poker programming, the group leans on Texapoker, a cornerstone of the live circuit. Opening day, May 12 sets the tone with a Grand Opening at €250 accompanied by an evening tournament at €200. From May 13, three tournaments are planned each day: a first at 1 p.m., a late-afternoon one, and a final evening session. Plenty of action around the clock, whether you’re a regular at the tables or just curious. And in the weeks that follow, the club will host the Unibet Open Paris, an international two-week festival featuring a Main Event at €1,100. The WSOP Circuit is already on the calendar for September.
The movement between spaces is built around a sprawling central atrium, and you can tell that every detail has been considered, from automated identity‑verification systems to tables equipped with RFID chips for token management.
Beyond the games, the club now houses an Italian-inspired restaurant connected to the founder's roots. We gave it a test run, and to be honest, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality on offer.
Carpaccios, Caesar salad, octopus, freshly made pasta in-house, or steak tartare are on the menu. You can treat yourself to the pizza, whose crust we appreciated for being well cooked yet still soft, and the Milanese-style cutlet, notably juicy.
For the record, the head chef didn’t want to put a veal cutlet Milanese on the menu, often considered dry. So he went with the veal cutlet Milanese that truly melts in the mouth, with its lovely crust and capers to lift the whole thing.
You can’t miss the famous tiramisu ladled out, incredibly light and generously soaked, just the way we like it.
You’ll also find bars and snack areas on every level.
VIP lounges and lounge spaces are set to open after the summer on the 4th floor, while the fifth floor will host the new headquarters of the Partouche group, which has decided to establish its offices in the capital long term. One of the stated goals is to attract an international clientele, something the club’s location naturally supports, just steps from the major hotels in the 8th district and a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe, making it all the more accessible.
The club is easy to reach from Charles de Gaulle-Étoile, Porte Maillot (lines 1 and RER C) or Argentine (line 1), with direct access to Paris’s largest car park. For neighborhood explorers, we’re also just steps from the Palais des Congrès. About 250 staff are on hand to run the venue, which is open 7 days a week, from noon to 6 a.m.. Entrance is free and reserved for adults on presentation of an identity document.
The venue is geared primarily toward poker and table games enthusiasts, whether locals or visitors. Veteran players will appreciate the top-tier offering and the dense tournament schedule. But it’s not just for them—the restaurant and bar areas provide a solid reason to spend an evening out without necessarily placing a big bet.
