Located in the residential area of the 14th arrondissement, La Flamme Divine is one of the prettiest spiritual boutiques in Paris. As its name suggests, it's a reference not only for candles, but also for incense, essential oils and perfume burners.
Razi, owner and founder of La Flamme Divine, insists that this is a spiritual, not esoteric, bookshop. There's no black magic here, only objects for doing good.
The store is very pleasant and well worth a visit, if only to admire the beautiful colors of all the cleverly stacked candles. Each candle color has a particular property. For example, silver develops clairvoyance and strengthens intuition, gold attracts good luck, light green favours creativity, bright pink,love, orange, success, and so on. The biggest challenge here is knowing what you really want.
And the good thing about La Flamme Divine is that the prices aren't crazy at all. Colored candles, available in over thirty colors, are 1€, gold and silver candles are 2€. Novena of the Saints candles, which are left burning for 9 days, each day formulating a wish or prayer, are 6€, and colored novena candles are 3.50€, available in a dozen colors.
In addition to candles, you'll also find stones, pendulums, cards and books on white magic and spirituality. For example, there's a whole range of pendulums from €5 to €27. As at the Librairie du Bonheur, here we'll advise you if you have any questions, and help you choose exactly the candle you want.
Please note that La Flamme Divine has special opening hours, from Wednesday to Saturday, 3pm to 8pm. Let's go for some spiritual and colorful shopping!
