Jardin d’Acclimatation: sign-ups open tomorrow for Journées Particulières 2026

The Journées Particulières is back, set for 16–18 October 2026. Over three days, the group's houses, workshops and iconic sites will open their doors to share their craft and history through free tours, often in spaces that are usually off-limits to the public.

This edition stops at the Jardin d'Acclimatation. Nestled at the gates of the Bois de Boulogne, right next to the Fondation Louis Vuitton, which is also taking part in the event, this Parisian promenade staple has been writing its history since 1860, the year of its inauguration under Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie.

Originally conceived as a garden devoted to nature, discovery and leisure, the site now spans 18 hectares, where attractions, animals, gardens and cultural events sit side by side. Behind this familiar setting, the paths, pavilions and buildings narrate more than 160 years of history, a heritage the park is exceptionally highlighting for Journées Particulières.

2026 Special Open Days program at Jardin d'Acclimatation:

• A route inspired by the 1860 opening of the Jardin d’Acclimatation, where the figures behind the park’s creation are brought back to life.
