Journées Particulières 2026: The Gustave Fayet exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton is free to visit.

From October 16 to 18, 2026, Journées Particulières offers a twofold look at Gustave Fayet at the Fondation Louis Vuitton: the exhibition itself and the behind-the-scenes story of its making.

This time, the Journées Particulières are trading tools for gallery walls. From October 16 to 18, 2026, the public can explore several venues belonging to LVMH Group free of charge as part of this sixth edition, themed At the Roots of the Dream. A total of 46 Maisons, 69 venues and 12 countries are taking part, with experiences designed to offer a fresh perspective on heritage, creativity and savoir-faire. At the Fondation Louis Vuitton, visits are available only on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026, around the exhibition dedicated to Gustave Fayet. On Friday, the venue is open in the evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Opened in 2014 in the Bois de Boulogne, the Fondation Louis Vuitton is dedicated to modern and contemporary art and creativity in all its forms. Designed by F rank Gehry, its building, with its vast glass sails, has become a Parisian cultural landmark in just a few years, hosting temporary exhibitions, works from the collection, artist commissions, concerts and performances. More than 11 million visitors have been welcomed since it opened.

For the 2026 Journées Particulières, the tour takes place right inside the exhibition Gustave Fayet, Collector-Creator: Icons of Modern Art, on view from October 9, 2026, to March 8, 2027. A painter, collector and patron at the turn of the 20th century, Gustave Fayet brought together works by Gauguin, Van Gogh, Cézanne and Odilon Redon, among others, while developing his own artistic practice. With pencils in hand, visitors are invited to try their hand at some of the artist’s techniques as they make their way through the exhibition, accompanied by cultural mediators. The tour also offers a chance to discover how the exhibition came together, from the selection of works to their final installation.
