Rouje, the fashion label of renowned Parisian Jeanne Damas, launches Re-Rouje, a clothing line made from dormant fabrics and manufactured in France. As the brand moves into upcycling, it is also developing other sustainable and solidarity-based initiatives based on the model: Re-Créer, Re-Utiliser, Re-Donner.

There's something new in the fashion world! Rouje, the ready-to-wear label from iconic Parisian Jeanne Damas, launches Re-Rouje, the first 100% upcycled fashion collection made in Europe! A line of clothing designed entirely from the label's dormant fabrics, to be discovered in boutiques from this Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Rouje

Rouje's new credo: to give new life to textiles! A large-scale responsible project saving no less than 2000 meters of fabrics lying dormant since 2022 and employing 332kg of yarns from"dead stocks" for this collection. And to leave nothing to chance, 85% of the pieces are transported by road, and 63% of them are made from eco-responsible, certified materials.

To further its commitment to sustainable development, Rouje donates rolls of fabric to the Emmaüs Friperie Solidaire, where people are reintegrated into society, and to ESMOD students as part of their training. The company also donates profits from the sale of upcycled items to La Maison des Femmes, a shelter and care center for women whose ambassador is Jeanne Damas.

Thanks to these various initiatives, Rouje is continuing its transformation into a more responsible and supportive brand.

We're off to the Sentier to discover this new concept!
